I need to know if I am being reasonable about our bills?

We just bought a new home, and our house payment is $1057. a month, I have paid the house payment since we moved in October. Our propane bill is over $400/mo, and I have paid it for the last 2 months. I buy all the groceries with the exception of bread he prefers, and I paid the garbage man and also paid the $220 electric bill. He says he is not going to help me pay bills because he paid for the new roof to be put on. I offered to put it on my credit card since I had 0 % interest for 12 months. He makes 3 times my salary. We bought the house because we have been together for 10 yrs and thought it was a good investment. Im drowning in financial debt now. He says he will pay this and pay that, but he doesnt. Im a lil freaked out. Am I being unreasonable to expect him to split the bills?
