What brand of boots under $100 could p for fall, and winter?

Also, one's that do not get "salty" either, so UGGS and other suede boots for that matter, are out of the question. By the way, if you know where I could get them (in Toronto) that would be so nice of you. I've been eyeing Tretorn boots for a while, but I'm not sure if they'd keep my feet warm enough.
