My Company asked me to move to different city and 3 days before the move asked me to stay in the same city...?

I am seeking as to what my options are , my company promoted me and asked me to take the new position within the same company in a diffferent city. 3 Days before I was supposed to move they asked me to take the same position in the same city where I was or in other words cancelled the move(however gave me the promotion). I did not acquire or sold any property in the anticipation of move. I had a rental place and I somehow got it back even though I gave notice to my landlord. I am a single guy no family so only one who was affected by this decision was me. I am seeking legal advise as to what are my options if I wanted to sue the company? I was told to take the new position in the same city or go back to old position and still stay in the same city. I signed a revised letter of acceptance in which I accepted to take the promotion and stay in the same city . Please advise as to what my options are?
