If you are fighting to bring freedoms to the middle east then why so upset when they exercise that right?

Correct! Just look at the people in Gaza who voted Hamas into power. It seems most Americans don't think outside of their own limited realities. Of course, the people who are the most shocked by the decisions of the voters in other countries are the people who are the least educated, the least traveled, least likely to move beyond a limited social structure, and the least likely to do any independent research. They seem to be well represented on this site today.
